Drove by the lot and....

THEY WERE POURING THE FOUNDATION!!!! =)

Sorry it's not a better a picture. I was standing a street away. I didn't want to get in the way. And that's not all...check out the update from my PM that was in my email when I got home:

Hey *Noey*, I hope this finds you doing well. I just wanted to shoot you a weekly update of progress and what next weeks schedule is looking like. We are pouring the slab today. Your lumber dropped today. The framers are scheduled for Monday but they may get a jump on things tomorrow. The framers should be wrapping up on Thursday, weather permitting. I have the plumbers scheduled for Friday along with the roofers. I will be in touch next week, for another update. Everything is moving along. Let me know if you have any questions.

OH YEAH BABY!!! I cannot tell you how excited I am!! I'll go back tonight with the kids and get some pics of my wood and the foundation. And really? Framing complete by next Friday? Along with roofers and plumbing? Is is for real? My PM ROCKS!! GO J!!! I think by the first full week of June we'll be having our Pre-dry wall!! Then we can lock in our rate and give our landlords notice of closing and when we'll be out!

Super stoked!!

Getting Slab happy!

Went out to home site today! Had a horrible, life altering encounter with a cicada. *shudders* We have 13 yr cicadas here. And wow!! yeah. Google that one! *shudders again* Where I live now is fine, but like where my sister lives... They have to use UMBRELLA's to get from the garage to the car. NO LIE!! They are starting to die and falling out of the trees in bunches, all at once! She has several THOUSAND in her yard alone. *shudders again* The have to sweep a path to the car several times a day. BLEK!!!

Dear Readers

Please remember that a lot of us started blogging b/c most of anything you find on the internet is a BAD experience...no matter who you research. Unsatisfied costumers need the internet. Satisfied ones just move on with their lives and never think to go say anything nice.

When most of us made the decision to start blogging, we knew we would encounter good and bad, and we would be honest about our experiences every step of the way. We would let others read and judge for themselves about Ryan. Out of the 30-40 of us there are blogging, there hasn't been much in they way of "bad experiences". And if a mistake had made, Ryan was quick to fix it.

In "mom"'s case though...it's different. She is that one in 50 (it would seem in this case) that is having a HORRIBLE experience. Grievous judgments and mistakes were made. She has deleted her post for now pending possible legal pursuits on their behalf, so I will not breach her wishes and re-post anything she is going through in detail.

I just ask that we all support her and her family during this time.

GUESS WHAT!?

We have the FINAL application and will be faxing it and the final stuff back in this afternoon. =D By next Friday we "should" have an answer! (we all know how "should's" have gone. lol) I may have something "memorable" to celebrate this Memorial Day Weekend! Our loan officer was off the past 2 days...little mini vaca. I can't imagine the pressure a loan officer goes through. lol She did give us her CELL #!! Just in case....future use! AWESOME!!!!

Also...Dh and I go and get our Passports tomorrow!! =) We are having them extradited. (rushed) Thank God for the wonderful person who offered to pay for them! God Bless Them!!! (literally...Amen!)

They are "scheduled" to pour the slab tomorrow, but with all the rain we've had, and there may be more today and tomorrow...that may put us into next week. I'll let you know. But I do know the lumber is suppose to be here Friday. And you KNOW I have to have pictures of my wood! =P
