#23 Bigger Shower

The shower in the house now is maybe 2 ft by 2 ft.   (maybe 3 ft by 2 ft)     I get clausterphobic in it.  I HAVE to shower in my girl's bathroom.  It's THAT bad. 

I love that in this house we opted for the Alt. Bathroom with the larger shower with seat/step in it.  =)  I could have used that when I was pregnant!  lol  But finally a shower I can use!!  =)

  4. Anon: Not sure...I thinks he said 4 ft but someone once said 5 ft. I just know I can wash my hair without fear of my elbows hitting a wall! =) I can breath in it! I'll measure next time I'm there!

    This is Anon that was buidling down the street, We pulled our contract due to the fence issues, pool issues, HOA issues but your home has come out just beautiful. I wish your family the best of luck in your new home.

  9. TO OTHER ANON----what? really? you pulled out of the contract? what if they decided to change it to allow 6ft fences after you pulled out? do you have a dog? well, if you do, then i understand, since they can jump over that fence. would be dangerous.well, best of luck.

  10. I understand why they pulled out. Their seems to be some some really shady back and forth about things. Like HOA,poo, and the pull opening and wether or not they are going to finish out what lots they have left and pack up and leave. Did they already start building your home ANON?

  11. I never thought there would be so many questions but I do not mind answerng them, construction was set to begin next week, my lot was prelim this week. When I read Noey's blog on Sat I went to talk to them about the fence issue- I had a fence included in my price based on lot location-backing up to the road,child and a dog. I was building next to the lot that had a 6ft fence and was looking forward to my own privacy fence...they offered a 4ft fence but honestly I do not have the time and I can be honest the patience to wait to see if and when they would ever change the rule. A fence was number 3 on my wish list and thru all of this I lost the vision of what my house was to be. The pool I know will happen,but when who knows and HOA rules from 2007 were too much for me at the end--the house was not worth the what ifs to me--I am a single mom so the I knows mean alot more to me. I think the community willbe beautiful and hopefully a developer will buy the land soon and more order can be enforced. GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE FAMILES THERE, I wish nothing but the best.

Not sure if this is the case with all states and locations, but the HOA stuff does not settle down until it is turned over to the community to run...as long as it is still in the hands of the developer or some management company there are always risks of amenities not being built, existing ones being closed, services not being provided, open space not being taken care of, roads unfinished, and the list goes on. I do not blame Anon for pulling out at all..stability and certainess is obviously very important to her and is absolutely a good reason for bailing out...hope it didn't cost you any money. Warning to everyone else....do not make a purchase based on promises from a developer about future amenities and do not get pissed at your builder...they are the middleman and can only do so much.

  13. Well said BD. Ryan is not in charge of the covenants. They are the middleman. I am impressed with all they are doing to help us. They don't have too. That alone speaks volumes to me about Ryan Homes.

    There are always risks when being some of the first to build in a neighborhood. Each of us has our own choices to make. I don't blame Anon. I wish her the best of luck in the future.
