A blog about our journey on building a new home with Ryan Homes in the Charlotte, NC area. We are building the Milan.
Looking good! I am clueless about the gap maybe they need to put a pipe on that wall or put some wiring there for the fireplace? No idea, I am just guessing. Tomorrow you will have a second floor. It goes by so fast. Enjoy the process.
lol Maybe Monday. It's the south. We don't work Sundays down here in the Construction business I don't think. But it's cool with me. They weren't scheduled to start until Monday. So to have 1/2 the lower level done already. I'm happy!! =)
SO AWESOME!!! I bet you were so excited to see they started on your house!! I can't wait to see your kitchen!! I bet it is going to be BEAUTIFUL!!! GS
YIPPIE! How excited you must have been to see that since they weren't supposed to start until Monday! If I had to place a bet, I'd bet you can't wait until Tuesday or Wednesday, and you'll be back out there on Monday. I wouldn't either be able to wait, don't worry. :)
@ Anon: Me too!!! General consensus with some of those in our day-to-day life is that it will be hideous. (Or at least that is what I have been lead to believe through both what's been said and what's not been said....) I think it will be awesome! It's gonna be my most favorite room of the house, outside our master bedroom!@ Becky: LOL You know me very well!! lol
Look at that! They will be done framing in no time. It's soooo exciting.to watch it go up little by little. I don't know if you can even wait until Monday, I have seen the subs working on Sundays. I even asked one of the guys about it and he told me he works everyday. So don't be surprised if they are working on it tomorrow. Now Noey, you know your kitchen is going to be gorgeous! I am so jealous of your cabinets. Lol!
Yay! These next few days will be so exciting. Enjoy it and take lots of pictures...I know you will.
That looks so good! This is the exciting part! Something different to look at every day. Makes those drive-bys extra worthwhile!
