Hey *Noey*, I hope this finds you doing well.
This week we had all the trades install their fixtures and have those items inspected. We are inspecting the final electrical today. The plumbing and HVAC have already passed. We should have power and gas on the house by the end of next week. At this time we will have the HVAC started up and the water started up. We also installed your laminate yesterday and are installing carpet either today or over the weekend (they have a very full schedule today, so some things might role over into tomorrow). We poured the curb at the side street today and formed the driveway and public walk. We will pour these on Wednesday of next week. Next week we will also do some more drywall on Tuesday, paint on Wednesday and a final clean on Thursday. On Friday I will get in the house and make a detailed punch list of items that need to be complete. We will be looking to get the final building inspection the following week. WOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now...Can anyone tell me why we have to wait until July 22nd to close? lol
Oh wow, that is great news! I guess they have their reasons... you could have to wait until August like me. lol. BTW, I love the detailed email you PM sent.
ReplyDeleteWow, I have no idea why you have to wait so long to close at this point! Maybe it's because of bank paperwork? I know things with the banks always take so long! We had our carpet installed 2 days ago, and have electric and water running. Don't think our gas is hooked up yet, and our sidewalk or bottom driveway haven't been poured yet, but sounds like we are at the same stage otherwise, and we close in 12 days.

ReplyDeleteI definitely agree with All That N Some, your PM is really touching base with you throughout all the steps of the house. So far, our PM has showed these characteristics..can't wait to receive an email like this one day!
