  4. Everything looks great...so happy for you. That is amazing that wall was that far out of plumb and wasn't caught earlier.

  5. Thanks ya'll!

BD: PM has like 16 houses under construction right now. He can't stop by every house as often as he'd like, I'm sure. But when he did make it by, he caught it and got it fixed. So I'm thankful. I have a few questions for him the next time I see him about it, but I'm glad it's fix. Hubby says it's easier to spot that issues once drywall is up. But I have no idea. I'm just thankful it's fixed. I just want to make sure that as the house settles, we aren't going to end up with a huge crack up there along the seam.

  6. Everything looks terrific. You even have appliances. Guess, its safe to say we are no longer on the same schedule, and explains why my settlement is 1.5 weeks after yours. So excited for you. How is the packing coming?

  7. We just got the rest of the appliances. Not much longer.

I am almost to the point where I don't know what else to pack. I'm overwhelmed!! The girls and I took the day to play and swim and visit family. It was nice.

My end of the packing will be done shortly. My DH's only day off between now and closing is tomorrow. And instead of doing it to do his part of the move (the garage) he is using it to help a neighbor move instead. *sigh* And as angry as a part of me wants to get and scream...TAKE CARE OF YOUR OWN FIRST!!! I can't do that. This is what makes him so special. Part of why I love him. I don't know how this will effect his part in our move, and it's going to stress me out...no doubt. But I love that he has such a big heart.

We'll get there! lol And so will you!! No worries hon! I can't wait to read about your closing and moving!
